Review
This is an ambient score for a dramatic Irish series (no Celtic influences here, if you’re wondering). It’s a pretty score overall, and very understated, so my Top 3 are the tracks that jumped out most. Composer Stephen Rennicks used an impressive array of instruments to create what amounts to an ambient soundscape. There’s slow-plucked harp, piano, ambient drone, and an occasional beat; the theme is pleasant, subtle but hummable; "Chatting with Lorraine" features plucked electric and acoustic guitars. I recommend giving a listen while working on a computer or while relaxing this coming St. Paddy's Day weekend!
