A tender and psychologically deep score that perfectly pairs with Flanagan’s magnum opus. Strings, piano, and the occasional though mercifully rare jump scare create a horror score unlike any I’ve heard before — one I return to again and again. The four part Beginning of the End in particular gets auto-repeats as I think and write.
