Review
Composer Austin WIntory takes the listener on a slow trek with this score. The music flows from track to track with underlying ambient tones that sometimes seem to hint at something mysterious or dangers. However, tracks like “Threshold” and “The Road of Trials” feature a slightly more whimsical sound. The music takes a dramatic turn at times, but stays calm for the most part with a mesmerizing beauty. Still, there is a quality about this score that keeps you wondering, and never fully relaxed.
