Review
This is one of those soundtracks that will take you to another world. It’s an absolutely gorgeous score filled with peaceful melodies, soaring strings, and many truly touching piano pieces that really capture the essence of the film. Whether it’s the opening notes of “Dawn” or the tender melodies of “Stars & Butterflies,” this music will lull you into relaxation and daydreams with its emotive qualities. Even the faster-paced moments in “Darcy’s Letter” and “Your Hands Are Cold” carry a captivating beauty in their notes that brings to mind passion, romance, and the English countryside. Listen to this soundtrack if you need to escape from the stresses of life for a bit or perhaps as background music for your next book club. I often put it on when I’m feeling a bit stressed out and need a moment’s respite from life’s worries.
