What a fun soundtrack! While I have only listened to a few of the tracks from the first Knives Out soundtrack, Glass Onion did feel tonally different from the ones I have heard. The main theme features a harpsichord (which is something I don’t often hear) with an orchestral backdrop. This score contains a lot of fun and energetic tracks full of whimsical mystery, driven by violins, orchestra, harpsichord, piano, and some brass. “Andi’s Theme” and “The Center of the Onion” both had a lovely piano motif that sounds like it contains a hint of “Moonlight Sonata.” I don’t know whether this was intentional or not, but I certainly appreciated it. If you’re looking for a fun mystery soundtrack, Glass Onion is a great choice!
