An intense soundtrack befitting the game it accompanies, Sarah Schachner’s score has a solid main theme and lots of suspenseful action pieces. If you like listening to fast-paced music while working, this is a solid choice. It does have some tense moments, but there are plenty of fast tempo tracks with driving percussion and electronic elements that’ll keep you moving. The last two tracks on the album (“Ticking Bomb” and “141”) are lyrical songs sung in Spanish, and it seems that “Ticking Bomb” is a cover of Aloe Blacc’s song of the same name. Overall, this soundtrack seems perfectly suited for the Call of Duty franchise, and I will probably revisit it for background music.
